The implementation will be led by River Logic Chile, a professional services company that has partnered with River Logic to deliver value chain optimization solutions in Latin America. The Integrated Business Planner™ (IBP) solution will allow Cemento Melón to dynamically integrate Finance with the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, optimizing demand, supply, production, distribution, and investment capital decisions while meeting the needs of customers. Antonio Lira, Strategy Lead at Melón pointed out, “we have very high expectations from the [Integrated Business Planning](https://mailtrack.io/trace/link/b801f21f574968c9aa3478ad80fe713580365f13) project. The high level of complexity and competitiveness in our industry requires us to continually find more efficient solutions that improve our EBITDA.” Lira continued, “we are convinced that the IBP solution will enable us to accurately model the business, including the financial and operational complexities and through the application of prescriptive analytics will provide us with the superior decision-making ability required in modern management.” “Given the high complexity of the cement market, low return on assets and strong price competition, we believe IBP’s unique ability to supporting tactical and strategic planning processes will be a fundamental contributor to achieving a sustainable competitive advantage for Melon” said Raimundo Veloso, partner at River Logic Chile. Veloso continued, “by way of example, Melon will be able to rapidly configure, optimize and analyze “what-if” scenarios that combine all aspects of the business to maximize financial impact.” “We are honored by the commitment of Melon and River Logic Chile with the IBP-based Enterprise Optimizer® solution” indicated Carlos Centurion, President of River Logic, Inc.” Centurion continued, “in our experience, the ability to plan and optimize demand, supply and finance in an integrated manner generates not only a strong economic impact, but it also creates a higher level of understanding, cross-functional collaboration and competitiveness within the business. We are confident that Melon will generate a very high return.” [![Strengthening S&OP with What-Ifs](https://hubspot-no-cache-na2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/default/484375/e72b9bed-4f4a-42dc-9107-fa61b5af9848.png)](https://hubspot-cta-redirect-na2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/redirect/484375/e72b9bed-4f4a-42dc-9107-fa61b5af9848) #### About River Logic We’re on a mission to ensure companies across the globe drive maximum value with every decision they make, no matter how complex.
