River Logic Podcast Explores the Habits of Highly Effective Companies

DALLAS, TEXAS, May 4, 2009 – River Logic, Inc., the leading provider of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and advanced business modeling software, has released its first podcast in a series on integrated business planning. This initial episode, Habits of Highly Effective Companies, features an interview with business strategy, supply chain management, and performance management veteran, Srikanth Srinivas, director of customer value for River Logic.

In this approximately 13-minute podcast, Mr. Srinivas explains how companies can increase their business performance by incorporating seven key enterprise processes to eliminate many of the hurdles companies now face in this economic downturn, including: falling demand and under-performing products; difficulty managing inventory; minimal return on marketing and investment dollars; and lack of confidence in profit and cost drivers.

Mr. Srinivas explains how integrated business planning helps organizations identify “diamonds” at the product and customer level to generate solid margins and how through a continuous improvement culture, enterprises can always know what to do and when to do it.
