The supply chain term “control tower” is used many ways, causing some vendors to meld its point solutions into a new layer of technology and tout a beacon of insights across the supply chain with promises to include: **DALLAS – June 11, 2014** – [River Logic, Inc.,](http://www.riverlogic.com/) a leading provider of [prescriptive analytics software](http://www.riverlogic.com/enterprise-optimizer/), proudly announced that Gary Cokins and Dr. Bill Wallace have joined its board of directors. The company is excited about leveraging the wealth of knowledge and insights that these individuals have accumulated in their respective fields. “I’m delighted to have these two very accomplished individuals join our board,” said River Logic Chairman & CEO Kevin Howe. “Their significant experience will serve us well as we broaden our strategic work with both partners and customers.” Of the new board members, Howe went on to say, “We look forward to having Bill share his experience in healthcare analytics and business transformation with our healthcare partners and customers. Given Gary’s thought leadership on enterprise optimization, I am confident that both our customers and business partners will greatly benefit from Gary’s insights and counsel.” Dr. Wallace is currently the executive vice president of corporate strategy at [Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy Inc.](http://diplomat.is/) His areas of expertise are in driving the growth agenda, managing large-scale client programs and directing the product strategy of the company. Prior to Diplomat, Dr. Wallace was on the leadership team at Medco Inc. (now Express Scripts Holding Co.) and Perot Systems Inc. (now Dell Inc.). Dr. Wallace also has experience running ambulatory care and outpatient surgery clinics. “As the healthcare industry begins to realize the magnitude of the untapped efficiencies that could be identified through the use of prescriptive analytics, River Logic and its partner network are uniquely positioned to deliver rapid value to business users at both payers and providers – as such, I am thrilled to be joining the River Logic Board of Directors at this point in the company’s history,” said Dr. Wallace. Cokins, a prolific writer of business books and articles and active on the speaking circuit, recently retired from SAS, a business intelligence software vendor, as its foremost authority on enterprise performance management (EPM) and advanced analytics. Prior to SAS, Cokins was a leader in driving adoption of activity-based costing through senior roles in consulting at Deloitte, KPMG, and EDS (now part of Hewlett-Packard Inc.).
